The Mineral Point Football Gridiron Club purpose and mission is to:

1. To provide financial support to maintain the existing and future football programs and activities at the Mineral Point School District.

2. To promote athletic excellence, good sportsmanship, and character-building relationships among the athletes, coaches, athletic department, parents, and community.

3. The Gridiron Club shall be self-governing, self-supporting, non-commercial, non-sectarian, non-profit, and non-partisan. The Gridiron club shall seek neither to control the administrative activities of the Mineral Point School District nor to control its policies.

4. The Gridiron Club shall abide by all policies and procedures of the Mineral Point School District and Mineral Point Athletic Department.

 

5. No part of the net earnings of the Gridiron Club shall be used to personally benefit any member of the executive board of the Gridiron Club or a private individual outside of coaching stipends (except those in financial hardship) as specified in the bylaws.

6. The Gridiron Club shall conduct activities allowed under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and Regulations as they now exist or as they may be amended.
